Ive seen sizes for track (fixed gear) cogs that say to use a 1/2" x 3/32" and 1/2" x 1/8". What do these numbers mean? Or even simplier, will a standard Shimano 10spd chain fit either of these? I'm trying to convert my tri bike

We recently acquired a beautiful piece of cycling history to display at the shop. It is a Tachion Track Bike which was designed for time trials with a very interesting front end set up. Instead of using a traditional quill stem a handlebar was mounted directly to the fork in order to get a super low aerodynamic position with out the need for a 650 front wheel.
