Here is an original VINTAGE (serial number is SH0705056) men’s 27″ SCHWINN LETOUR road bike. It is in the original and very appealing RADIANT BLUE colored factory paint. If you like better quality original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike!
*This bike was recently removed form long term storage and cant wait to be in the wind once again! It has some great quality componants! I LOVE the updated cruiser handlebars! If gives you the best of both worlds! It is a Schwinn X-TRA LITE lightweight bicycle with a butted tubing frame. It has center pull brakes, lightweight aluminum 3-piece cranks, chrome tip forks, QUICK release front AND rear hubs, aluminum neck, some cool pedals with straps to hold your feet and MORE!
*The tires are 27×1 1/4″. They are slightly newer replacement vintage tires and do hold air. The bike has chrome rims front and rear.
*The bike is an original TEN SPEED and the rear gears do operate. The hand controlled brakes are operable as well. (front gears may need adjustment or possible cable replacement in order to operate) You can ride it just like it is so it is not a necessary fix.
*DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 33″. The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 33 1/4″. The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 23 1/4″. The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 21 3/4″. The bike will accomadate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust.
*NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is fairly nice as shown! The paint looks ok for a 30+ year old bike! The chrome is shiney but is not...
